Context and Connections: Developing. Although I like the piece a lot, it doesn't quite fit within the genre of most political campaign posters. There is no title/name for the cat and there is too much going on in the picture (too many colors and not enough red, white, and blue).
Technique: Proficient. Clearly, the cat is the main object of the picture, but the image of the Statue of Liberty collides with it and confuses the eye. I would suggest making it smaller and even more transparent. The US flag reflected in the eyes are a very nice effect, though.
Point of View: Advanced. It is very clear who the piece is targeting. For cat lovers, this is a great piece.
